Things learned in the hospital

Anyway, I'm not actually going to talk about that directly, but about what you find out over the course of hanging around a hospital for a few days:
- Jello is part of a "clear liquid" diet. Chocolate pudding is part of a "full liquid" diet.
- Anesthesiologists have the best pain drugs
- Adding a new wing whenever you happen to get a grant results in a confusing and bizarre building from the inside.
- Prompt service in the emergency room can be gotten by yelling loudly in pain when you walk through the door.
- Even with (admittedly limited) directTV, there's still nothing on on Saturday afternoon.
- The soda machine will not contain root beer no matter how many times you revisit it.
